Things NOT to do when you see LOTR
Zusammengesammelt aus dem gleichnamigen Thread bei IMDb:
- During the opening credits, stand up and sing „Frodo of the Nine Fingers“.
- Enter ten minutes late and loudly ask the person next to you „Has the big spider killed Frodo yet?“
- Shout, „Don’t go in there!“ or „Look out for the spider!“ when the hobbits follow Gollum into the tunnels above Minas Mor.
- Loudly ask where they found a guy that thin to play Gollum.
- Play a drinking game where you have to take a sip every time someone says: „The Ring“.
- When Elrond comes on screen, yell, „Holy s***! It’s Agent Smith!“
- When Denethor lights the fire, shout „Barbecue!“
- In TTT when the Ents decide to march to war, stand up and shout „RUN FOREST RUN“.
- Whenever the Nazgul are on screen loudly hum the Imperial March.
- During the battle of Helm’s Deep, when Theoden is standing watching and says: „Is this it? Is this all you can conjure, Saruman?“ and then the wall explodes, yell at the screen and to Theoden: „Couldn’t keep your mouth shut, could you?“
- In the big battle scenes run up to the screen pointing and yelling to everyone that guy way back in the distance is actually a relative of yours who was on holiday in New Zealand when the filming took place.
- When they go in the paths of the dead wait till a tense moment and shout „I see dead people!“
- Say that your ring makes you invisible too – but only when nobody’s looking.
- Make Light-Sabre noises during any sword fights.
- Ask when the novelization comes out.
- After two hours of the film suddenly turn to the stranger next to you and tell him that this sort of reminds you of a book you read in high school but can’t remember the name of.
- As ROTK credits roll, say loudly „I can’t wait for the next one!“
